Shipping is free on every order, in the United States and internationally. We ship with FedEx, UPS, USPS or DHL depending on your location and order size, and you’ll get a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Kraft candy boxes are custom cartons made from natural brown paperboard, sized for chocolates, fudge, toffee, caramels, gummies and other sweets. TBPB prints them to order with no minimum order, and if you bring a written quote for the same specs, we will beat it.

Why confectioners pick kraft

Kraft board has a hand-made, farmers-market look that suits small-batch candy, artisan chocolate and gift boxes. It also forgives rough handling. A scuff on a white box shows; a scuff on kraft usually reads as character. The trade-off is colour. Brown stock mutes ink, so bright candy-shop colours go dull and pastels nearly disappear. The best-looking kraft candy boxes use one or two dark inks, a bold logo and a good deal of exposed brown. If you need full-colour photography or a pastel palette, a white board in a similar carton is the better call.

Direct contact and what goes inside

Treat the carton as outer packaging. Most confectioners put the candy in its own wrapper, a cellophane bag, a paper cup or a sheet of food-grade tissue first, and then place that in the box. Bare candy touching uncoated kraft can pick up a paperboard taste and oils from chocolate can mark the board. We do not claim food-contact approval for our cartons, so if your product touches the board directly, raise it with your own regulatory adviser first. A paper liner or wrapped candy removes most of that concern.

Style and size

A tuck-top carton ships flat and closes with a tab, and it is the sensible choice for bars, bags and single layers of truffles. If you want to show the sweets, a kraft window box adds a clear cutout. For gifting, kraft gable boxes add a carry handle, and the kraft sleeve boxes slide over a tray for a layered presentation. Chocolate-bar makers should also look at our candy bar packaging.

To size the box, lay out your candy exactly as it will sit and measure the length, width and stack height. Add about an eighth of an inch of clearance per side. If you sell mixed assortments, tell us the count and if you want a divider, because loose pieces rattle and break.

Boxes for gifting are worth planning around the season. Holiday and wedding orders tend to be fussier about the look, with ribbon, tissue and a printed sticker or foil seal, while everyday retail boxes just need to protect the candy and carry the brand. Tell us which one you are building and we will keep the construction simple or add the finishing touches accordingly.

  • Natural brown kraft paperboard, tuck, window, gable or sleeve styles
  • White board available if you need colours to stay bright
  • One to four colour print, Pantone matching and white underprint
  • Matte coating, foil stamping or embossing on the logo
  • Paper dividers or tissue inserts for assortments
  • Single-candy, bar, bag and gift-box sizes

Practical notes

Chocolate melts, so if you ship in summer, packaging alone will not solve it. Insulated shippers and cold packs are a separate decision, and our mailer boxes can be the outer pack. Allergen statements, ingredient lists and net weights are your responsibility, and rules differ by product, so confirm your label with your own regulatory adviser. We print the artwork you supply.

Send us the candy dimensions and the quantity, even one box, and we draw the dieline and quote it. The full candy packaging range has more shapes if kraft is not your final answer.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Is there a minimum order for custom kraft candy boxes?

No. TBPB has no minimum order, so you can order one box to test the fit or thousands for a retail launch. Each run is printed to your artwork and quoted on its own specs, and our price-beat guarantee applies when you bring a written quote for the same specification.

  2. Can candy touch a kraft box directly?

We do not claim food-contact approval for our cartons, so the safe approach is to wrap the candy or line the box with food-grade tissue, a paper cup or a bag first. If you want candy touching the board, ask your own regulatory adviser before ordering. Oils from chocolate can also mark uncoated kraft.

  3. What size kraft box fits my candy?

Lay the candy out as it will sit and measure length, width and stack height, then add about an eighth of an inch per side for clearance. For assortments, tell us the count and if you want a divider. Send the measurements and we will draw the dieline for approval before printing.

  4. Will bright colours print well on kraft?

Not as well as on white. Kraft is brown, so ink looks darker and duller, and pastels often vanish. A white underprint helps key artwork stay true. One or two dark colours with a bold logo look best, and white board is better if you need vivid colour.

  5. Can I add a window to a kraft candy box?

Yes. A clear window cutout shows the candy and works well for colourful sweets. Pair it with wrapped pieces so nothing touches the film. Windows let in light, which can affect chocolate over time, so consider shelf conditions in the shop where the box will sit.

  6. Do you print ingredients and allergen information?

We print the text you supply but we do not write or check label content. Ingredient lists, allergen statements and net weights follow rules that depend on your product and state, so confirm them with your own regulatory adviser, then send final artwork and we will place it on the dieline.

Product Overview

Kraft candy boxes use natural brown paperboard to give chocolates, fudge, toffee and gummies a hand-made look. Confectioners pick them for gifts, farmers-market stalls and small retail lines where a rustic carton fits the brand. TBPB prints them custom in tuck, window, gable and sleeve styles to the exact size of your candy, with no minimum order, so a new sweet-maker can order a single box before committing to a batch.

Learn More About Kraft Candy Boxes

Pick the style from how the candy is sold. A tuck-top carton suits single layers and bars, a window box lets customers see colourful sweets, a gable box works as a gift with a handle, and a sleeve over a tray gives a layered unboxing. Check the colours: kraft mutes ink, so choose dark inks and a bold logo or switch to white board for bright artwork. Wrap the candy or add a liner before it goes in the box. Measure the candy laid out as sold and send it with the quantity; we will draw the dieline before anything is printed.
