Two layers of laminated film are sealed along three edges. There is no gusset and no folded base, so the pouch lies flat and stays thin. You fill through the open top, then close it with a heat sealer. Because the seams run down both sides and across the bottom, the pouch fits tidy, rectangular portions well: a single dose of powder, a face mask, a spice sample, a seed packet, a cut of jerky or a pair of earbuds.
