The Best Price Boxes makes custom heart-shaped boxes with no minimum order and beats any written quote for the same specs. They are shaped gift boxes for chocolates, candles, jewelry, soap and keepsakes, printed with your artwork. Send the size of the product and how many you need, even one, and we will quote it.

How a heart-shaped box is made

A heart is not a square box with the corners shaved off. The curves need their own cutting die, and the sides have to fold or wrap around a shape with no straight edges. Most heart boxes are built one of two ways. A rigid heart is a stiff paperboard base and lid wrapped in printed paper, which gives a firm, giftable box that people keep. A folding carton heart is cut from a single sheet and glued, which is lighter and easier on a budget for items such as candy or soap.

Heart shapes are a wasteful use of board because the curves leave offcuts, and that is a real cost driver on large runs. We say so up front. If cost matters most, a square or rectangular box with a heart printed or die-cut on the lid delivers the look for less.

Sizing a heart box

Hearts have a deceptive usable area. The widest point is across the lobes, and the narrow point at the bottom wastes space. A round chocolate that is 1.25 inches across fits in the lobes fine, but a long rectangular bar does not. Measure the product at its widest and tallest points and tell us whether it is flat or has height. Send a sketch if the layout matters, for example six truffles in two rows.

For loose items, add an insert that holds each piece in place. Inserts for odd shapes are a custom job, so ask us to confirm what we can cut for your spec.

Printing and finishing

Artwork is printed flat and wrapped or folded, so keep the main logo in the middle of the lid and away from the curved edge, where a fraction of an inch of shift is visible. Solid colors such as red, pink, black and white are the popular choices for Valentine’s Day and wedding favors, and they hide small registration drift better than fine patterns. Ribbon, magnetic closures and foil accents are common on rigid hearts. Ask us to confirm each one for your spec before you design around it.

Where to look if a heart is not the right fit

Seasonal shapes often cost more than standard styles, so compare. Our custom gift boxes and custom rigid boxes cover standard shapes in every size. Food gifts have their own range under chocolate boxes and candy packaging. For carton styles and how they differ, read our folding carton guide.

How to order

Questions buyers ask

Is there a minimum order for custom heart-shaped boxes?

No. You can order one heart box as a sample or a full run for retail. There is no minimum quantity, and we will beat a written quote for the same specs.

Are heart-shaped boxes rigid or folding?

Either. Rigid hearts use stiff board wrapped in printed paper and feel premium. Folding carton hearts are lighter and cost less. We help you pick based on what goes inside and how it will be handled.

Why do shaped boxes cost more than square ones?

Curved shapes need a custom cutting die and leave more waste board. The cost is real, so if budget is tight a standard box with a heart printed on the lid gets you the look for less.

What fits inside a heart-shaped box?

Round or small items such as truffles, soap, candles, jewelry and keepsakes fit best. Long rectangular items waste the lobes. Send your product size and we advise on layout and inserts.

Can I print a photo or pattern on the lid?

Yes, any artwork you supply. Keep the key logo or image centered and away from the curved edge so small shifts in wrapping stay invisible. We send a proof for approval before production.
