Sizing: the mistake that causes damage
The most common error is ordering a box that fits the product exactly and has nothing left for protection. Measure the product, then add room for padding on every side. Loose space lets a product move; too much space wastes board and invites crushing. A tight fit with a paper wrap, a die-cut insert, or a kraft paper fill often works better than a big box stuffed with void fill. Measure inside dimensions, not outside, and list them as length, width, then height, in that order.
Styles and print on kraft
Most brands choose either a regular slotted carton or a self-closing mailer style. Mailer styles fold into place without tape and give a tidier unboxing, and our mailer boxes are the dedicated option. A plain RSC-style carton is the simplest and the sturdiest for bulk shipping.

Before a large run, pack one sample the way your warehouse will, tape it the way your team tapes, and drop it from about waist height onto a corner and a flat face. Shake it. If the product moves, the box is too big or needs an insert. If a corner collapses, step up the flute or go double-wall. Because there is no minimum order, a single test carton is a normal first order, and it costs you far less than a pallet of the wrong size.
When corrugated is the wrong answer
Corrugated is built for shipping, not shelf display. If your box sits on a retail shelf, a folding carton, such as kraft boxes with lid, prints finer and looks neater.
