A kraft take out box has one unforgiving test: it has to hold a hot, saucy, steaming meal for a twenty minute drive without going soft, leaking, or letting the food get cold and soggy. That means food grade board with the right coating, a tight closing lid or tuck that traps heat without trapping so much steam the food wilts, and a base that does not collapse when the container gets warm and heavy.
We build kraft take out boxes in food grade board as tuck top cartons, hinged clamshells, and Chinese style pails, in natural kraft that reads wholesome and takes full color print. Grease resistant coatings handle oily and saucy food, and vents can be added where you want steam to escape instead of soaking the meal. Sizes cover entrees, sides, noodles, and combo meals.
No minimum order lets a food truck or a small kitchen brand its containers without a warehouse order. Tell us the dish, roughly how hot and saucy it runs, and we will match the board and coating so it travels well and looks like your brand.
Passing the twenty minute drive test
Will a kraft take out box hold up to hot saucy food?
Yes when built from food grade board with a grease resistant coating, which is what we use for this. We match the coating to how oily or saucy the dish runs so it does not soak through.
Can I add steam vents?
Yes. Vents let steam escape so fried and crisp food does not go soggy in transit. For dishes you want to keep hot and moist, we leave them out. It depends on the food.
What styles do you offer?
Tuck top cartons, hinged clamshells, and Chinese style pails, sized for entrees, sides, noodles, and combos. All in natural kraft with full color print.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum, so a food truck or small kitchen can brand its containers without a bulk order.
