Printing on a holographic base
The film shines through any thin ink, so what you print decides how holographic the finished bag looks. A solid opaque color panel hides the effect. Picking a size and style
Size a pouch by its contents: how much it holds by volume, not just weight, because a light, fluffy product needs a bigger bag than a dense one. A practical tip when you design the bag: put the key information in a flat, opaque panel. Barcodes, ingredient lists and warnings need a stable, plain background to stay readable and scannable, and a shifting rainbow behind a barcode can defeat the scanner. Reserve the holographic area for the brand mark and the decoration, and keep the facts on solid color.
Also think about how the pouch will be filled. A bag that is filled by hand through a wide top opening needs different proportions from one that goes through a filling machine, where the mouth width and the film stiffness matter. Handling and storage
Holographic surfaces show fingerprints and scuffs, and shipping rubs pouches against each other. Pack them with a divider or a sleeve between stacks, and ask for a protective varnish if the pouches will be handled a lot. Keep unused pouches flat and out of heat and sunlight, which can warp film.
