Bandana packaging is the header card, band, sleeve or small box that holds a folded bandana, keeps the fold crisp, shows the print, and carries the brand on a peg or a shelf. We make all four in kraft or full color, sized to the fold, with hang holes and windows where they help, and with no minimum order. The starting number is the fold: a standard 22 inch bandana folded in quarters is 11 by 11 inches, folded again to eighths it is 11 by 5.5, and folded to a pocket square it is about 5.5 by 5.5. Everything else follows from which fold you present.

If the bandana sells online, a belly band inside a printed mailer is the lightest and usually the best looking option. If it hangs in a store, the header card bag is the standard the buyer expects. If it is a gift or a set, the box earns its place.
Sizing to the fold

Cotton bandanas vary more than people expect: 22 by 22 is the common flat size, 27 by 27 for large and western styles, 18 by 18 for kids and small dogs, and pet bandanas are often triangles or snap collar styles that fold to a strip.

Print and finish
Header cards and bands print CMYK on white board or one or two colors on kraft. A matte aqueous coating keeps the card from scuffing on the peg. Windows are die-cut and left open on bands and sleeves, or filmed on boxes. Add a size, fabric and care line on the back of the card, and a barcode panel if the product goes to retail. For pet brands, a hang hole plus a hook cut lets the same card hang from a peg or a slatwall hook.
Multi packs and sets
Two and three bandana sets sell well as gifts and in western and workwear retail. A sleeve holds a stacked pair; a tuck end box with a window holds three side by side. Keep the set to one fold so the stack is even, and print the pattern names on the back panel so the customer knows what they are getting before they open it.
