A wedding gift box is a small presentation box made in guest count quantities: a favor box for the table, a welcome box for out of town guests, a bridesmaid or groomsman proposal box, or a keepsake box for the couple. We make them as rigid boxes, tuck end cartons, pillow boxes and drawer boxes, printed or foil stamped to the stationery, in any size and with no minimum order. The number that runs the whole job is the guest count, because a box that is easy to make once has to be made two hundred times, arrive on one date, and look identical on every table.
The second number is the date. Wedding orders are the least flexible deadline in packaging. We confirm the production window on the quote, send a physical sample before the run, and ship to the venue or the planner when that is easier than shipping to the couple.

Most weddings need two of these, favors and a welcome or proposal box, and the two should share a paper, a foil color and a typeface so they read as one set on the day.
Matching the stationery
Send us the invitation suite or the designer’s files. We match the paper color to the nearest board or wrap, print the pattern or monogram in CMYK, and add foil stamping in gold, rose gold, silver or copper for the names and date. Soft touch lamination gives a matte, velvety finish that photographs well; a linen or kraft wrap suits rustic and outdoor weddings. A blind emboss of the monogram on a plain lid is the quietest and often the most elegant option.
Sizing to the favor, not the other way round
Measure the favor first. Two macarons need 2.5 by 2.5 by 1.5 inches; four truffles in cups need 3 by 3 by 1.5; a 4 ounce candle tin needs 3 by 3 by 2. A box that is a half inch too large lets the favor slide and the guest hears it rattle. We add a quarter inch of clearance, cut a paper insert if the favor needs holding, and send a sample so you can fill one before the run.
Ordering for a date
Count the guests, add 5 percent for spares and for the vendors you want to thank, and tell us the date the boxes must be in hand. We quote the production window against that date and put it in writing. Boxes ship flat where the structure allows, which halves the carton count and makes assembly a job for the wedding party the week before. Rigid boxes ship assembled.
