A cube box is a box with equal or near-equal width, depth, and height, a clean six-sided shape that stands out on a shelf and frames a single product well. Brands use cubes for candles, mugs, gift sets, subscription boxes, ornaments, and bath and beauty kits. We make custom cube boxes with no minimum order, so you can run 100 for a launch and reorder at a lower per-box price as volume grows, at a price we will quote against any competitor. We build cubes two ways. A folding-carton cube in 14pt to 24pt SBS or kraft, with a tuck or auto-lock bottom, ships flat and costs less. A rigid cube on wrapped greyboard, often with a lift-off lid or a magnetic closure, gives a heavier gift feel for premium sets. Add a die-cut window to show the product, an insert to hold it steady, and finishes like matte or gloss lamination, soft-touch, foil, and spot UV. Send the product size and the look you want, and we will build a dieline and a free proof, with free samples and free shipping. Standard turnaround is about 10 to 14 business days after proof approval, with rush handled case by case.

Cube box FAQ

What is a cube box?

A cube box is a box with equal or near-equal width, depth, and height, giving a clean square shape on every face. It suits candles, mugs, gift sets, and subscription boxes.

Should I choose a folding carton or a rigid cube?

Choose a folding-carton cube for retail runs that ship flat, or a rigid cube with a lift-off or magnetic lid for a premium gift feel. We quote both so you can compare.

Can a cube box have a window and an insert?

Yes. We can die-cut a window to show the product and add a foam or paperboard insert to hold it centered and secure.

Is there a minimum order for cube boxes?

No. We make custom cube boxes with no minimum order, so you can start at 100 and reorder at a better per-unit price at volume.
