Shipping is free on every order, in the United States and internationally. We ship with FedEx, UPS, USPS or DHL depending on your location and order size, and you’ll get a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Hand sanitizer boxes are custom cartons that hold a bottle, tube or spray, from a single travel size to a multi-bottle gift or retail pack. TBPB prints them to your container size with no minimum order, and we beat any written quote for the same specs.

Match the carton to the container

Sanitizer comes in more shapes than most people expect: small flip-cap bottles for a bag, pump bottles for a counter, spray bottles, tubes, and pocket packs that hang on a key ring. Each wants a different box. A small flip-cap bottle sits happily in a straight tuck end carton with a snug fit. A pump bottle needs more height and a tight neck so the pump head cannot press against the lid, which can make the product leak or dispense accidentally in transit.

Always pack the container the way a customer would carry it home. If the pump can be pressed by the lid, either lock it with a collar or choose a taller box with headroom.

How to size the box

Measure the bottle’s height with the cap or pump on, and its widest diameter or width. For a folding carton allow about 1/8 inch of clearance per side. If you pack more than one bottle, decide the arrangement first: a row of three small bottles needs a different footprint than a stack of two, and a divided insert stops glass or plastic touching. A paperboard cradle keeps the bottle from sliding and stops the label rubbing against the inside wall.

Board, structure and print

For most retail units, a folding carton on 16 to 24 pt paperboard is the right weight. Larger or heavier bottles may need thicker board or a corrugated sleeve so the box does not bow on a shelf. A tuck top opens easily at home. A straight tuck end is the usual shelf style. If you want to sell as a counter unit, a display carton holds several units facing forward.

  • Single-bottle folding carton with a custom insert
  • Multi-pack carton for two, three or six bottles
  • Display carton for counter sales
  • CMYK or Pantone printing, matte or gloss coating
  • Spot UV and foil on the brand mark
  • Die-cut windows or hang tabs for peg retail

Labels, shipping and regulation

In the US, hand sanitizer is generally regulated as an over-the-counter drug, which affects labelling. Drug facts panels, active ingredient statements, net contents and warnings are your responsibility. Alcohol-based sanitizer is also a flammable liquid, so carriers often limit how it ships by air or in larger volumes. TBPB prints the artwork you supply and does not review or certify label copy, so confirm both the label requirements and the shipping rules with your own regulatory adviser and your carrier.

If your range also includes skin care or health products, compare formats in the pharma packaging range so your boxes match across the line, including skin health product boxes.

The common mistake is to design a lovely front panel and leave no clean space for the required drug facts. Plan the back or side panel first, using the real text, and then design around it.

One more thing buyers overlook is the opening experience. A tuck flap that fights back, or glue that tears the label, makes a clean product feel cheap before anyone has touched the bottle. Ask for a physical sample, open and close it a dozen times, and slide the bottle in and out. If the carton stays crisp and the bottle moves without scraping the print, the fit is right.

Next step: send the bottle dimensions and your quantity, even if it is one, and we will draw the dieline and quote it.

Frequently asked questions

  1. What size box fits a hand sanitizer bottle?

Measure the bottle height with the cap or pump on and its widest point, then add about 1/8 inch per side. Travel flip-caps, pump bottles and sprays all differ, so send the container size and we draw the dieline.

  2. Is there a minimum order for hand sanitizer boxes?

No. TBPB has no minimum order. You can order a single carton as a sample or thousands for a retail launch. We beat any written quote for the same specs.

  3. Do I need to print Drug Facts on the box?

If the box carries the labelling for an over-the-counter product, required panels are your responsibility. TBPB prints the artwork you supply. Check the required copy with your regulatory adviser before approving a proof.

  4. Can the box hold more than one bottle?

Yes. We build cartons for two, three or six bottles with a divided paperboard insert so containers do not knock together. Send the container size and the count.

  5. How do I stop a pump bottle leaking inside the box?

Leave headroom above the pump or lock it with a collar so the lid cannot press it down. Choosing a taller box and snug cradle also helps. Test a packed sample before ordering a full run.

  6. Can sanitizer cartons be shipped?

Alcohol-based sanitizer is a flammable liquid, and carriers may restrict how it ships. The carton does not change the classification. Check your carrier rules, and ask us about a corrugated shipper if parcel shipping is planned.

Custom Hand Sanitizer Boxes for Safe and Stylish Storage

A sanitizer box has to survive a bag, a shelf and a counter while holding a container that can leak or pump itself. We make custom hand sanitizer boxes for single bottles, multi-packs and counter displays, sized to the container with a snug paperboard cradle. Print your artwork in CMYK or Pantone, add a coating, and cut a window or hang tab if you sell on pegs. Brands choose TBPB because there is no minimum order, so a new scent or size can get its own carton.

Why Should You Choose Hand Sanitizer Boxes for Your Products?

Choose the carton by container. A small flip-cap bottle fits a straight tuck end carton. A pump or spray bottle needs more height and a cradle so the head cannot press against the lid. Measure with the cap or pump attached and add about 1/8 inch per side. For heavier bottles, pick thicker board or a corrugated sleeve. Plan the back panel first, because Drug Facts and warnings take space and are your responsibility to supply. Matte coating handles fingerprints better than gloss at a counter, and a window helps buyers see the container.
