A pie box has one job the average bakery box does not: it has to keep a warm, heavy, grease heavy dessert flat and intact from the counter to the car to the table. That means food grade board that shrugs off butter bleed through, a base that does not sag under a nine inch fruit pie, and enough headroom that a meringue or a lattice top never touches the lid.
We build these in kraft and white food grade paperboard, with a locking base for stability and an optional clear window so a customer sees the golden crust before they buy. Standard footprints cover eight, nine, and ten inch pies plus mini and hand pie sizes, and we can cut a tall version for deep dish and cream pies. Auto lock bottoms speed up assembly when you are boxing dozens before a holiday rush.
No minimum order means a small bakery can run a Thanksgiving specific box without eating the cost of a huge print run. Print your logo, your flavor, and your handling notes right on the lid. Send us your pie diameter and height and we will size the box so nothing shifts in transit.
Sizing a pie box so nothing shifts
Will a pie box hold up to grease and warmth?
Yes when it is built from food grade board with the right coating. We match the board weight to the pie so the base does not soften under a heavy fruit filling.
Can I get a window so customers see the pie?
Yes. A window on the lid is popular for display cases and gifting. We can also do full print with no window if you prefer a closed box.
What sizes do you offer?
Common sizes run from mini and hand pie up to ten inch, including a tall deep dish option. Give us the diameter and height and we will confirm the fit.
Is there a minimum order for custom pie boxes?
No minimum. You can order a seasonal or single flavor box in a small run and reorder as demand grows.
