Shipping is free on every order, in the United States and internationally. We ship with FedEx, UPS, USPS or DHL depending on your location and order size, and you’ll get a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Cookie boxes are printed cartons made to hold a single cookie, a gift set or a full dozen without breakage, with a window or tray if you want one. The Best Price Boxes makes them to your cookie diameter and stack height with no minimum order, and a written quote for the same specs is one we aim to beat.

Cookies break at the edges, so the layout matters

Almost all cookie damage happens at the rim, where a thin, crisp edge snaps if the stack shifts. Soft cookies behave the opposite way: they squash and stick together if packed warm or crowded. So the first design decision is texture. Crisp shortbread can stand on edge in a tight row. Chewy chocolate chip stacks flat with parchment between pairs. Iced or decorated cookies with royal icing want a tray with a separate well for each, because anything touching the icing leaves a mark. Pick the layout that fits the cookie you bake, not the one that looks best in a photo.

Measuring for the box you need

Take the diameter of your biggest cookie and its thickness, then decide whether you pack flat, stacked or on edge. A flat single layer in a shallow box is the safest for delicate cookies; stacking saves space but needs a firm base. Add about 1/8 inch of clearance per side for a folding carton, and a little more height than the stack so the lid does not press on the top cookie. For mixed boxes with shapes such as stars and rounds, tell us the largest of each. Gift sets with a tray insert, a sleeve and a lid are also an option, and we can plan the height for ribbon or a tag.

Board, window and print

Folding carton paperboard around 16 to 24 pt prints crisply and suits most cookie boxes, and kraft board feels homemade. For cookies that ship, a corrugated E-flute mailer or an outer shipper protects the stack from handling. A die-cut window shows the cookies, though the film can pick up grease or fog if the cookies are warm, so cool them before boxing. Print runs in CMYK or Pantone-matched color, with matte or gloss aqueous coating, soft-touch lamination or foil on a name. We print your supplied artwork. Food-contact suitability of any liner, window film or coating should be confirmed with your own regulatory adviser, and allergen statements are yours to provide.

Where another box fits better

Dense bars and squares belong in brownie boxes, which handle grease and weight differently. Very thin, crisp pieces such as shortbread fingers sit well in custom biscuit boxes, and tiny delicate shells suit macaron boxes. When cookies leave the shop in a mixed order, pastry boxes carry them with other items. The wider range is in bakery boxes.

  • Formats: single, half dozen, dozen, gift set with tray
  • Board: folding carton paperboard, kraft board, or E-flute corrugated
  • Extras: window, insert tray, dividers, sleeve, ribbon slot
  • Print: CMYK, Pantone, matte or gloss aqueous, soft-touch, foil
  • Quantity: one box to tens of thousands

Next step: send the diameter and thickness of your biggest cookie, how many go in each box and the quantity you want, even if it is one. We draw the dieline and quote it. Pack a real batch into a sample and shake it gently to see how it holds up.

If you sell around holidays, consider the sizes you will need in November and December now. Gift boxes tend to be taller than everyday ones, and with no minimum order you can add a small run of holiday boxes without forcing a large order of one size.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Is there a minimum order for custom cookie boxes?

No. There is no minimum order, so a home baker can order one box to check the size and a bakery can order thousands. Each size is quoted from your dieline, and if you bring a written quote for the same specs, we aim to beat it.

  2. What size box do I need for a dozen cookies?

Measure the diameter and thickness of your largest cookie, then choose a layout such as two rows of six or stacked pairs. Add about 1/8 inch of clearance per side and a little height above the stack. Send the numbers and we draw the dieline.

  3. How do I stop cookies breaking in the box?

Choose a snug layout so they cannot slide, add a tray or divider for fragile or decorated cookies, and use a firm base. For shipping, put the box inside a corrugated outer. Breakage usually starts at the rim when cookies move.

  4. Can I get a window on a cookie box?

Yes. A die-cut window shows the cookies and helps sell on a counter. Film can fog or pick up grease from warm cookies, so cool them before packing. Confirm window film suitability for food with your own regulatory adviser.

  5. Are cookie boxes food safe?

Suitability depends on the board, coating, liner and window film you choose, so we make no blanket claims. Tell us what goes in the box and we note it on the quote. Confirm food-contact suitability with your own regulatory adviser.

  6. Can I use cookie boxes for gift sets?

Yes. Gift sets often use a tray insert with wells, a sleeve and a lid, with extra height for ribbon or a tag. Tell us the cookie count and any extras you pack, and we plan the dieline around them.

Why Choose Custom Cookie Boxes for Your Bakery?

TBPB cookie boxes are cartons cut around the cookies you actually bake, whether that is one for the counter or a dozen for a gift. We plan the layout for your texture, flat for soft cookies, snug rows for crisp ones and wells for iced ones, and print your branding on the outside. Bakeries, cafes and home bakers choose them because the fit stops breakage, and because there is no minimum order, a seasonal cookie can have its own box.

What Makes Cookie Boxes Essential for Your Bakery?

Choose by texture and by how the box travels. Crisp cookies need a snug row, soft cookies need flat layers with parchment, and iced cookies need separate wells. Measure your biggest cookie by diameter and thickness, then pick a window if the box sits on a counter. Use paperboard for sharp color or kraft for a homemade look. For orders that ship, ask about an outer corrugated box. Send us the measurements and the quantity, and we draw the dieline and quote it. If you bake several cookie types, send the largest of each and we quote the sizes together.
