CBD Sleeve Boxes

A CBD sleeve box is a two-part package: a printed outer sleeve that slides over an inner tray holding the bottle, jar or tube. TBPB prints custom CBD sleeve boxes to your product dimensions and artwork, with no minimum order, so a new brand can start with a handful and reorder as it grows.

Shipping and Turnaround

Standard production runs 7 to 14 business days, depending on the box style, print method, and finishing you choose, a simple kraft mailer moves faster than a box with foil stamping or spot UV. Need it sooner? We handle rush requests case by case, so email us your deadline before you place the order and we’ll tell you straight whether we can hit it.

Shipping is free on every order, in the United States and internationally. We ship with FedEx, UPS, USPS or DHL depending on your location and order size, and you’ll get a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.

A CBD sleeve box is a slide-out package made of a printed paperboard sleeve and a tray inside it, built to hold tinctures, topicals, gummies, balms or pre-filled cartridges. TBPB makes custom CBD sleeve boxes with no minimum order, and if you bring a written quote for the same specs we will beat it.

How a sleeve and tray works

The sleeve is an open-ended band of printed board that wraps around the tray on four sides. The tray holds the product and can be plain, printed or lined. Pull the tray out and the product is revealed, which is why this structure is popular for unboxing and gifting. There is no flap to tuck and no lid to lift, so the opening is clean and quick. The sleeve friction-holds the tray, so fit matters: a sleeve that is too loose slides off in a shipping carton, and one that is too tight tears when customers pull it. We tune that fit on the dieline.

Fitting the product inside the tray

Measure the bottle or jar at its widest, tallest and deepest points, including any dropper cap or pump. Add about 1/8 inch of clearance per side for a loose fit, or request an insert for a snug one. A tincture bottle standing upright in a plain tray will rattle and can tip, so a die-cut paperboard insert with a hole for the bottle neck keeps it seated. For multi-item sets, such as a tincture with a topical, an insert with two cavities holds both. Tell us the heaviest item, since glass needs a firmer tray than a tube of balm.

Print, finish and compliance copy

Sleeves take most of the print and the visual impact. Printing is CMYK with Pantone matching, and finishes include matte or gloss aqueous coating, soft touch lamination, spot UV, foil stamping and embossing. A matte sleeve with a foil logo is a common wellness look. Remember that CBD labelling is regulated and differs by state, so you are responsible for the label wording, warnings and any required statements, and you should confirm requirements with your own regulatory adviser. TBPB prints the artwork you provide and does not supply compliance text.

Sleeves also solve a practical problem for growing brands: one tray size can serve several products. If your tincture, balm and gummy jar all fit the same tray with different inserts, you only change the sleeve artwork per SKU, and your range looks consistent on the shelf. It also makes reordering simpler, because you are not rebuilding the structure every time. Keep any claims and dosage information on the sleeve consistent with what is on the product label itself, so a customer never reads two different statements.

  • Sleeve and tray structure, sized to your product
  • Optional paperboard insert for bottles, jars or multi-item sets
  • CMYK and Pantone printing with coatings, foil or emboss
  • Printed or plain tray, with a clean slide-out opening
  • Any quantity, no minimum order

When another box is the smarter choice

A sleeve and tray is not child-resistant on its own, so if your product needs that feature, discuss it with your regulatory adviser before choosing any structure. For a simpler and lighter carton, tuck top boxes and straight tuck end boxes use less board. If you only need a sleeve over an existing tray or tube, ask us about a sleeve alone. The wider CBD packaging range shows the other formats we print.

Next step: send us your product dimensions and the quantity you need, even for one set, and we will draw the dieline and quote it.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Is there a minimum order for CBD sleeve boxes?

No. TBPB has no minimum order, so a new brand can order a small batch to test the design and reorder later, or place a large production order. Send a written quote from another supplier for the same specs and we will beat it.

  2. What is the difference between a sleeve box and a tuck box?

A tuck box is a single carton with flaps you tuck closed. A sleeve box has two parts: a printed band that slides over a tray. The sleeve gives a clean slide-out reveal, while a tuck box uses less board and is usually simpler for light products.

  3. Can I add an insert for a tincture bottle?

Yes. A die-cut paperboard insert with a hole for the bottle neck keeps the tincture upright and stops it rattling. For sets with a topical or gummies, we can cut a multi-cavity insert. Send the product measurements and we draw it to fit.

  4. Are CBD sleeve boxes child-resistant?

A plain sleeve and tray is not child-resistant by itself, and we do not claim it is. If your product requires child-resistant packaging, confirm the rules with your own regulatory adviser before you pick a structure. We can discuss options once you know your requirements.

  5. Who writes the compliance and label text?

You do. CBD labelling rules vary by state and product type, so you are responsible for warnings, ingredient lists and any required statements. TBPB prints the artwork you supply, so send the final approved text and confirm the wording with your regulatory adviser.

  6. How do I size a sleeve box for my product?

Measure the product at its widest, tallest and deepest points, including any cap or dropper, and add about 1/8 inch per side. Tell us the weight and if you want an insert. We then draw the dieline and tune the sleeve fit so it slides smoothly without falling off.

Printing Techniques to Elevate Your CBD Sleeve Packaging

CBD sleeve boxes are two-part packages with a printed outer sleeve that slides over an inner tray. Brands pick them for tinctures, topicals, gummies and gift sets because the slide-out reveal feels deliberate and gives a large, clean surface for branding. TBPB prints them to your size and artwork, with optional inserts to hold bottles upright, and there is no minimum order, whether you want a sample set or a full production run.

Why Choose Custom CBD Sleeve Boxes?

Get the fit right first. Measure the product including its cap, add clearance, and decide whether you want a loose tray or a snug insert. Then choose the finish: matte lamination with foil is a common choice for wellness brands, soft touch feels premium, and a plain tray keeps the print focus on the sleeve. If you sell several products, keep the sleeve dimensions consistent so the range looks like a family. Check your state rules for CBD labelling before the artwork is final.
