A CBD paper tube is a round, spiral wound paperboard container with a push fit lid, in black, kraft or full color, sized to a tincture bottle, a pre roll, a balm jar or a vape cartridge box. The black cylinder is the format most CBD brands settle on because it reads as premium next to a folding carton and protects glass better than one. We make them in any diameter and height, with a paper or foil lined interior, a foam or paperboard insert for glass, and with no minimum order. Construction
Tubes are wound from 3 to 5 plies of paperboard to a wall of about 1/16 to 1/8 inch, then wrapped in a printed outer paper. The lid is a slip on cap wound the same way with a slightly larger diameter, giving a friction fit that holds through shipping and opens with a twist. A metal rim on the lid is an option that reads as premium and stops the edge fraying. Ends are paper discs glued in, or a metal base for a heavier bottle. For gummies and anything that needs a barrier, the inside gets a foil or PE liner; for bottles and pre rolls it stays plain paper.
Black, kraft or printed
Black is the CBD default: a matte black wrap with a one color logo in white, silver or gold foil. Kraft suits natural and wellness positioning and takes one or two color print. Full color wrap carries a pattern or a label style layout with product name, strength and batch panel. Matte and soft touch finishes hide fingerprints on a black tube; gloss shows them. Print the batch and lot panel on the base or a clean white strip on the side so it can be stickered by hand per batch.
Labeling space
CBD products usually carry a lot of required text. A 1.5 by 4.5 inch tube gives a printable panel of about 4.7 by 4 inches once it is unrolled, enough for the front logo, a side panel of contents and directions, and a back panel for the QR code and lot number.
