If you have a written quote from another packaging supplier for the same specifications, send it to TBPB and we beat it. That is the price-beat guarantee, and it works because you bring the quote and we match the box line by line before we undercut the total. There is no minimum order, so it applies to one box as much as a full run.

| Quick facts | Answer |
|---|---|
| What you send | A written quote with the specifications listed |
| What we do | Match the specs, then beat the price |
| Minimum order | None |
| What must match | Size, style, board, print, finishes, insert, quantity |
| Also free | Design help, samples and shipping |
How does the price-beat guarantee work?
- Get a written quote from the other supplier. It should list the box size, style, board, print and quantity.
- Send it to us through the quote form, with your artwork or a description if you have one.
- We build the same specification on our side and return a dieline and a price.
- If the specs match and our price is not lower, we lower it.
Ask us about the exact terms when you send the quote. The guarantee depends on the quote being for the same box, so the more detail it carries, the faster we confirm.
What counts as the same specifications?
The same box, not a similar one. Compare these before you send anything:
| Line | What to check |
|---|---|
| Size | Inside or outside dimensions, and which one the quote uses |
| Style | Tuck end, mailer, rigid, sleeve, and so on |
| Board | Material and thickness |
| Number of colors, which surfaces, inside print or not | |
| Finish | Coating or special finish, if any |
| Insert | Material, shape, number of cutouts |
| Quantity | The number the price was quoted for |
| Extras | If design, samples and shipping are included |
Inside versus outside dimensions trips people more than anything else. A box quoted at three inches outside is smaller inside than one quoted at three inches inside, and a price comparison across the two is meaningless.
What if the other quote is missing details?
Send it anyway, and tell us what you know. Many quotes leave out the board thickness or say only “standard.” We can read a box from a description or a photo and ask the right questions. If you cannot tell that two boxes are equal, ask both suppliers for the missing lines in writing. It takes one email, and it keeps the comparison honest.
Why would a competitor quote look cheaper?
Usually because it is a lighter box. A thinner board, one fewer print color, no insert, or a quote that excludes shipping can all bring the headline number down. Another common reason is a quantity break: a price for a large quantity looks low per box, but you would need to buy that quantity. Check the quantity on the quote before you read the price.
Does the guarantee apply to a single box?
Yes. There is no minimum order, so a one-box sample or a test run is covered the same way as a full production run. Many buyers order a single sample, check the fit, and then reorder at volume once they are happy with the box and the price.
What does a real comparison look like?
Say you need 500 mailer boxes, 9 x 6 x 3 inches inside. Supplier A quotes a corrugated mailer, single-wall, one-color print on the outside, no inside print, shipping extra. Supplier B quotes the same size in a heavier board, full-color outside, one-color inside, shipping included. Supplier B is the larger number, and it is also the better box on three lines. If you send us A, we build A and beat it. If you send us B, we build B and beat it. If you send us both, we answer both, so you choose on the box you want and not on a total that hides the differences.
That is the whole idea. The guarantee is not a trick on the headline number. It is a promise that when the box is the same, the price from us is lower.
What else comes with an order?
Design help, samples and shipping are free. Send your dimensions and a quantity, and we return a dieline so you can see the box before you commit. If you want to see what we make, the mailer box range and the rigid boxes are good places to start.
How to send your quote
Use the quote request form, attach the other supplier’s quote, and add any notes on the specs. If you want to understand what drives price before you compare, read our guides on jewelry box cost, soap box cost and cosmetic packaging cost.
Questions buyers ask
How does the TBPB price-beat guarantee work?
Send a written quote from another supplier for the same specifications. We match the specs, then beat the price. Ask us about the exact terms when you send it.
Do I need a minimum order to use it?
No. TBPB has no minimum order, so the guarantee applies to one box or ten thousand.
What does same specifications mean?
The same size, style, board, print, finishes, insert and quantity. The comparison only holds if it is the same box, so check inside versus outside dimensions first.
What if the other quote leaves out details?
Send it anyway and tell us what you know. We can read a box from a description or a photo, and we will ask for what is missing.
Why is a competitor quote lower than mine?
Often a thinner board, fewer print colors, no insert, excluded shipping, or a price at a much larger quantity. Check each line before you compare the total.
How do I submit a quote?
Use the quote request form, attach the other supplier’s quote and add notes on the specs. We return a dieline and a price.
