White Shipping Boxes

White shipping boxes are corrugated cartons with a bleached white exterior that you can print with your logo, so the box that reaches the customer already looks like part of your brand. TBPB prints them to your size with no minimum order, and if you bring a written quote for the same specs we will beat it.

Why white instead of brown

Plain brown corrugated is cheap and practical, but ink on kraft liner always looks a little muted. White liner gives colours a cleaner base, so reds stay red and fine type stays sharp. If your customer films the unboxing, the outer box is the first thing on screen. That is the case for white. If you only need a carrier for wholesale freight, brown is perfectly fine and we will say so.

Flute and strength

Most shipping boxes use E-flute or B-flute corrugated. E-flute is thin, prints finest and suits apparel, cosmetics and light retail goods. B-flute is thicker and takes more crush, which matters for glass, candles and anything heavy. Double-wall is available for heavy items or long parcel journeys. The right choice depends on weight and how the carrier will treat the box, not how it looks on the screen.

Weight is the part people forget. A box that survives one courier route may split on another, so tell us the product weight and whether it ships alone or inside a larger carton. For candle sets, our candle shipping box has the inserts already worked out, and for subscription kits a mailer box may close more neatly than a regular slotted carton.

Sizing for shipping

Measure the packed product including any tissue, bag or insert, then decide how much void fill you are willing to use. A tight box needs less filler and saves on dimensional weight charges, which many carriers apply to light, bulky parcels. A common mistake is ordering one big size for the whole catalogue, then paying to ship air. If your range varies a lot, two or three sizes usually pay for themselves.

Print options

Because white corrugated is rougher than coated paperboard, very fine gradients print a little softer. One or two spot colours on the outside plus a full-colour inside message is a very popular approach, because the inside print is a cheap place to add a thank-you note or care instructions. Full-coverage CMYK is available when the design calls for it. Our ecommerce boxes follow the same logic if you need a different closure style.

Be careful with the white itself. Scuffing shows more on white than on kraft, so a matte or aqueous coating on the outside, where available, is worth asking about.

When a different box is the better call

If the product is flat and light, such as a scarf or a stack of prints, a mailer box or a poly mailer is often cheaper to ship than a full cube. If it is fragile and heavy, white corrugated alone will not save it; you need the right insert too. We would rather steer you to the correct build on the first quote than reprint after the first damaged parcel.
