A note on the name
These boxes are for hemp products, and the board is ordinary paperboard. We do not describe the cartons as made from hemp fibre, so do not put that claim on your packaging unless a supplier confirms it for you. Brands often pair the hemp theme with a kraft look and green or gold print to signal a plant-based product.
Sizing, board and structure
Measure the product at its widest, tallest and longest points, with lid and cap on. Add about 1/8 inch of clearance per side. Most hemp cartons are folding carton board between 16 and 24 pt in white or kraft, with straight or reverse tuck ends. For jars and glass, a paperboard insert or collar stops the product from shifting. For several items in one pack, a sleeve with a tray keeps them tidy.

Leave a clean panel for your regulatory text rather than squeezing it into corners, because crowded small print is the first thing to go wrong at proof stage. Spot UV on the logo or product name catches the light without adding clutter, and a matte base keeps it readable under shop lighting.

Hemp and CBD rules differ by state and by product type. Warnings, cannabinoid content statements, batch information and any child-resistant requirement are your responsibility to confirm with your own regulatory adviser.
