Yes, The Best Price Boxes makes custom countertop display boxes with no minimum order, and we will beat any written quote you already have. A countertop display unit, or CDU, is an open-front retail box built to sit by the register and drive impulse buys, printed and die-cut to hold your product at eye level.

Where a countertop display earns its space

A CDU works when the product is small, cheap enough to grab without thinking, and recognizable at a glance. Lip balm, single-serve snacks, supplement sachets, gum-style confections, candles, phone accessories and promo items all fit that description. A counter display does not replace shelf placement. It adds a second, closer spot where the sale happens in seconds, usually while the customer waits to pay.

The counter is also where retailers are strict about space. Many stores will give you a footprint about the size of a paperback, not a shelf. Tell us the footprint your retailer allows before we draw anything, because it decides how many facings fit and how deep the tray needs to be.

What we need from you to spec it

  • Product size and weight. Length, width, height and weight of one unit, so we can size the tray and pick the board.
  • Units per display. A 12-count and a 24-count are different builds, not the same box scaled up.
  • Facing direction. Front-facing, stacked, or angled toward the customer. Angled trays show more product but take more counter depth.
  • Counter footprint. The width and depth your store partner will allow.
  • Artwork. Send what you have. If you do not have print-ready files, our design team can build the layout from your logo and brand colors, and design help is free.

Board and print choices

Light products usually go on printed litho-laminated E or F flute board, which gives a clean photographic finish and holds its shape on a counter. Heavier products, such as jars or bottles, are better on corrugated for the load. If you are unsure, send the product weight and we will say which direction makes sense. Matte and gloss coatings are standard options. For foil or spot UV, ask us to confirm for your exact size and quantity before you design around it.

Start with one, then scale

Because there is no minimum order, you can place one display in a single store, watch how it sells for a few weeks, and only then commit to a rollout. A free digital proof comes before any print run, and a structural sample lets you check fit with your real product in hand. Samples are free, and so is shipping. If another supplier has quoted you for the same specs, send the written quote and we will beat it.

Counter displays often ship alongside the packaging that holds the product itself. If you are also ordering outer boxes, our mailer boxes, tuck top boxes and pillow boxes are made to match, and the window box page covers retail cartons that show the product through a cutout. For a quick read on carton styles, see the folding carton guide. When you are ready, request a quote with your product dimensions and quantity.
